The Baptist Heritage Alliance (BHA) is a coalition of Baptist men and women dedicated to:

  1. Promoting and preserving our rich Baptist heritage (Psalm 16:6b)
  2. Fostering better knowledge and understanding of the tenets of our faith so that we are Baptists by knowledge and conviction (Deuteronomy 11:9, 1Peter 3:15)
  3. Bringing Baptist People back to the Ancient landmarks of our faith, the original pathways which God led our founding fathers to establish and which has served us well over time (Proverbs 22:28, Jeremiah 6:16a
  4. Reminding Baptist people that as ‘People of the Book’ and competent by the enabling of the Holy Spirit to read, understand and interpret Scriptures they have a responsibility, like the Berean Christians to not just hear the preaching of the Word but to go back to scriptures to search and verify what they have heard (Acts 17:11; 2 Timothy 2:15
